When Brian was first diagnosed with lupus and lupus nephritis in 2020, he worked to learn about his condition, share his story, educate others, and raise money to fund research against these diseases. That fundraising effort, while championed by him, has been supported by the other members of Good Life Group, as well as his network of family and friends.

Through those efforts, Brian’s team has routinely been one of the top fundraising groups for Lupus Foundation of America’s Los Angeles region, raising over $20,000 to date.

But he believed there was more that could be done to spread awareness.

Good Life Group was formed in August 2025 with the desire to create the scaffolding needed to expand the group’s current fundraising and community efforts. With a deliberate vision, we believe that we can expand our fundraising capabilities - not just for lupus and autoimmune disease research, but for all causes that our group is passionate about.
